Pastors, we are called to 2 ministries – the ministry of the Sword and the ministry of ArrowS.

Isaiah 49:2 NKJV
And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword;
In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me,
And made Me a polished shaft;
In His quiver He has hidden Me.

Ministry of the Sword = the Preaching of the Word
Ministry of ArrowS = the Discipling of GenerationS

Many just focus on the Sword (preaching) and neglect their ArrowS (discipling).

A clause - if you are called to be an itinerant preacher, it is different. Preaching is good. We love preachers! But I am referring to pastors. I have observed that as the global invites and platforms come, pastors focus more and more on preaching - on IG, on YouTube, on Podcasts … at the expense of discipleship.

Jesus didn’t just call us to 'go into all the nations' – and PREACH.
Jesus also said 'go into all the nations' – and MAKE DISCIPLES.

We need BOTH!

Pastors, spend at least half your time discipling the GenerationS entrusted to you.

Make ArrowS.
Make DiscipleS.
Build GenerationS!
