Guard your FOCUS.

The devil’s greatest assignment is to get you to quit. But if he can't, he will try to derail you with distractions.

Guard your attractions in life.
You are only distracted by what you are attracted to.
Your attractions may become your distractions - which lead to detours, death and destruction!

The longer we are a Christian, the more we need to discipline ourselves to stay fresh.

Don’t be jaded with the sacred.
Don’t let your CALLING become a Career or a Contract.

The Anchoring Verse to keep in mind …

Lamentations 1:9 (NKJV) says –

she did not consider her destiny, so her collapse was awesome…

This verse grabs my heart every time I read it. It speaks of the great fall of Jerusalem, and how God’s people did not consider their destiny.

Another translation writes it as,

she gave no thought to her future.

What is Destiny?

Destiny is God's best plan for your life.
Destiny is your best life.
Destiny is your happiest self. Not just the emotion of happiness — but the deep fulfilment and satisfaction of living out God's plan.

To walk into this life, you need to imprint these three words onto your heart:
CONSIDER YOUR DESTINY!

3 Keys: Faith, Focus, Freshness

Whether it’s in different seasons of your life, or serving God in multiple services or walking with God through different life stages, the 3 keys remain – Faith, Focus, Freshness.

In HOGC, our youth start serving God excitedly when they are as young as 12 or 13.
But talk to the majority who have grown up in Heart of God Church over a decade or two.
You will discover that the GenerationS still bear the same joy and passion for Jesus now!

Pastors, it is teachings like these that keep them from being derailed or distracted.

Young people, let’s love and serve God for the long haul.
In your day-to-day life - Consider Your Destiny!
